Biratnagar, January 29
Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madav Kumar Nepali is staging a demonstration in Province 1, Biratnagar in protest to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s move to dissolve the House of Representatives.
NCP’s protest rally is supposed to start from 12 P.M today. Mahesh Regmi, central party member of the CPN-Dahal-Nepal faction, said that the rallies that are going to start from Bargachi Tinpaini, Rodsesh Chowk and Hatkhola in Biratnagar grow into a protest assembly at Janaandolan Chowk. According to him, Chairperson of Prachanda-Nepal led faction, senior leader Yogesh Karki, leader Yogesh Bhattarai are scheduled to address the mass gathered in the protest rally.
The rival faction led by Prachanda-Nepal have been staging different demonstrations across the country after PM Oli took a controversial move to dissolve the House of Representative. Regmi Said that this will be huge mass gathering in province 1 after the dissolution of the House of representative. He assumes that there will be more than 60 thousand people who will be taking part in the rally.
